Tye Strickland and Melissa Rycroft: Going Public! As previously reported, the stars came out last night for Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party. But while A-listers such as Lauren Conrad and Paris Hilton were in attendance, someone the country had never heard of six months ago stole the spotlight. Indeed, former Bachelor suitor and current Dancing Star Melissa Rycroft used the event to show off boyfriend Tye Strickland for the first time in public. The couple walked the red carpet at Hollywood hot spot My Club, arm-in-arm, smile-to-smile. Rycroft then spoke on the overwhelming attention. \"I feel like I am a normal girl in L.A. now!\" she said. \"It's weird. It's awesome. It's so surreal.\" For the first time, Melissa also met DeAnna Pappas. We can only imagine the Jason Mesnick stories these two swapped back and forth.
